Our Goal
The El Segundo Unified School District is ranked ninth among the 50 unified school districts in Los Angeles County. The Foundation's goal is to ensure our children receive an education that provides them with the greatest number of options as they graduate from high school, compete for college admission, and enter the work force.
Overcoming the public funding shortfall
State budget cuts over the last few years have exacerbated the funding deficit in El Segundo schools. Your contributions help alleviate this shortfall and provide for much needed educational resources.
Quality of education/quality of life
It is a well known fact that communities offering quality public education are viewed as more desirable places to live. A well-educated population often translates into higher property values, reputable services, and an enhanced quality of life.

The El Segundo Education Foundation underwrites special projects and programs that would not otherwise become a reality. We work hand-in-hand with the El Segundo Unified School District to target programs that need additional funding to help provide the best education possible to all of the children in El Segundo.
