Matching Gifts
Many businesses and corporations match charitable gifts,
allowing you to double or even triple your gift to the
El Segundo Educational Foundation. Most companies require
a special form to be completed, while others have automated
programs requiring a phone call. Browse our Matching
Gift List [PDF] to see if your company has matching
a gift to the ESEF in the past. If not, please contact
your human resources office for information about your
company’s program.
Appreciated Stock
By donating marketable securities that have increased in value, donors receive a charitable income tax deduction for the market value of the stock donated to the El Segundo Educational Foundation AND avoid capital gains taxes.
Estate Gifts
Remembering the El Segundo Educational Foundation in your will or living trust is an excellent opportunity to minimize estate taxes and enhance the quality of education in El Segundo. Supporters can also name the El Segundo Educational Foundation as a beneficiary to a charitable trust or life insurance policy. These future donations will help ensure the Educational Foundation’s ability to continue to fulfill its mission.
